For people who workout regularly, it’s crucial to keep changing their workout routines so that the workout is more effective (same workout over and over again will not produce much results in the long run). The internet is a great place to find sources of workout but sources are scattered all over the web. So I thought there should be a website that will help 3me find the workouts that I want in the easiest way. Here’s how it works:

Interface

  • Similar to Online Shopping Websites
  • Workouts are categorized (Shoulder, Chest, Biceps, Legs, etc.)
  • Workouts have Do’s and Don’ts (When to do and when not to do)
  • Workouts are detailed with videos, text and pictures (as much as possible).

System

  • A “Shopping Cart†(My Workout list) will be given which will store User’s choices of workouts
  • Downloadable to Mobile / Cell Phones / Ipod / mp3 players.
  • Generate manually / automatically workout routines for users
  • Comments / Discussion board / forum type to engage people with the topics
  • Workouts will be placed in the main page according to popularity, date added etc. (See YouTube video lists).
  • Feedback and ratings for a certain à ¢ â,¬Å "exerciseà ¢ â,¬Â
  • Generate list once user finishes choosing workouts and print thru browser

User

  • Add exercise details (Pictures, Videos, Text)
  • Workouts are screened by community (Flagging, spam or not)

Revenues

  • Users paying for professional consultancy (Personal Trainer / Nutritionist / Dietician) (40% / 60%?)
  • Affiliate marketing thru selling of vitamins, equipments, products etc (thru Commission Junction, Auction Ads, Amazon etc.)
  • Advertisements of Gyms, health clubs, equipments etc.
