XPT = Extreme Performance Training BREATHE – MOVE – RECOVER XPT consists of a unique combination of training and lifestyle modalities consisting of breathing routines, functional and high intensity workouts in water, in the gym, and on land, along with hormone balancing and rejuvenating Heat, and Ice routines. It’s a system any athlete, fitness fan can embrace for superior results. XPT is the amalgamation of Laird Hamilton, Gabby Reece, Brian Mackenzie, and Jenn Meredith Castillo. GABBY AND LAIRD opened their home about 10 years ago to their close friends who had an appreciation of consistent training, healthy eating habits, and similar philosophy about day to day living. Regular training sessions took place. For Laird, his group would train in the gym and outdoors every M-W-F while Gabby would train her friends doing HIGHX classes at Kelly Meyer’s home down the road. Each T-TH-Sat they would all come together and train in the pool, do breathing, and recovery with ice-heat sessions. Ithas grown into an amazing community that is motivating and very supportive. LAIRD AND BRIAN were brought together by mutual friends to see if their knowledge and experience could be beneficial to each other in their own respective fields. As soon as the collaborating began they realized their philosophies and relationship with training and nature were so similar that by combining all of their knowledge and experience, a fully deliverable comprehensive lifestyle program needed to be shared with the world. BRINGING IT MAINSTREAM XPT is the first complete fitness lifestyle system containing exceptional workouts and tools for performance level results that extend beyond the physical efforts of calorie burning and strength building. It’s a program that includes the components of body, mind, and spirit to keep people closer to their once lost natural ability. It’s not a quick fitness program leaving you with short handed results. It’s a comprehensive inspirational, fun active lifestylebreathing routines 1-2 times a day everyday, and try to do the heat and ice at least one day a week. We currently feature 2 new systems a week. OUR WORKOUTS: Consist of functional strength and conditioning exercises, high intensity exercises, recovery exercises varying from the gym, the water, out in nature. OUR BREATHING: We incorporate pre and post breathing routines and incorporate breathing into workouts. You can do these routines just about anywhere; home, gym, office, outdoors like the beach or a park. OUR HEAT/ICE: We encourage you to find a way to use a sauna as well as an icebath.
