Special hours in effect for national holidays. Closed for Jewish Holidays but all GJCC members have full access to Boost Fitness during those closures.

Our Fitness center has everything you would expect, and more! We offer a great variety of cardio equipment, most of it brand new, to get your heart pumping, and a full strength circuit as well as free weights, Olympic benches and racks, plate-loaded equipment, dumbbells, barbells, plates, and more. The fitness center is a wonderful setting for improving your wellness and health under the guidance of one of our personal trainers, or on your own. We have a helpful fitness floor staff also to provide tips and assistance if needed. Don’t forget, new members are offered a FREE hour-long orientation appointment with a personal trainer!

Our Group Fitness studio provides the setting for a variety of group fitness classes and instruction: Silver Sneakers®, Yoga, Pilates, Kickboxing, Cardio Blast, Total Body Conditioning are just a few of our offerings. We also have an Indoor Cycling Studio downstairs with brand new bikes for our Cycling enthusiasts. The group fitness and indoor cycling classes found on our regular schedule are all free to members. We may occasionally offer special programs or classes that require an additional fee, and that will be indicated when appropriate. No special equipment is required for any of our classes – all you need to bring is a water bottle and yourself! You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat to any of our yoga or Pilates classes. Private Mat Pilates & Yoga Training Work one-on-one with one of our certified Pilates Instructors to fully engage your core and work on skeletal alignment, creating the lean, strong center you desire. Also available as Semi-Private for 2 people. Pricing is the same as Personal Training for both members and guests. RIP Group Training Rip Training, developed by TRX, utilizes a lever bar and resistance cord to provide a unique mix of rotation, core stability, control, power, strength, mobility, metabolic conditioning, balance and coordination challenges. Whether used for high intensity interval training or slow speed strength and stability exercises, the Rip Trainer is the perfect training tool for elite level athletes, fitness enthusiasts and even people wanting to exercise for the first time. Tuesday at 9:30am (30 minutes)

The GJCC recognizes that youth and teens are uniquely positioned to develop lifelong habits that can either help them or hurt them. Living and leading a healthy lifestyle includes being involved in physical activity. This certification program is for members ages 10 to 13 to help them safely utilize equipment, better understand the benefits of cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training, and properly utilize the fitness center. The class is offered monthly, and is approximately 3 hours long. It includes a program manual, lecture and discussion, demonstration, and hands-on experience. Participants must pass a written test and a practical proficiency test in order to obtain certification. A certification badge will be presented upon successful completion and must be worn anytime the participant is working out in the fitness center.

  • Free quarterly group class or by appointment as private session
  • Free for group class; $35 for private session

Ages 10 through 13 may work out using treadmills, upright or recumbent cycles, elliptical trainers, cross trainers, or rowers without the certification program provided they are within arms-reach of a parent or guardian.

Fitness Center staff reserves the right to ask any teenager with inappropriate behavior to leave the Fitness Center.

FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN UNDER AGE 10 ARE ALLOWED IN THE FITNESS CENTER OR THE GROUP FITNESS STUDIO UNLESS PARTICIPATING IN A SPECIAL PROGRAM.

Tot Spot: Free babysitting while you work out Coming to work out but don’t have a sitter? No problem! Drop your kids off at Tot Spot and workout stress free!

Tot Spot is open to children from infants (six weeks and up) to elementary school. Our dynamic staff will keep them entertained for up to an hour and a half while you take a class, hit the machines, work with a trainer, or even go to an event in the building. Tot Spot is open:

Tot Spot Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-12pm Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30-6:30pm Sundays 9am-12pm.

*Tot Spot is not available on Friday evening or Saturday.*
