This is not or , that are much longer which can make it harder for some people to get motivated to be able to cram in 1-2 hour workout. Also, both programs can be considered more of an advanced fitness workout routine. Everyone one knows that you don’t go from fat to fit overnight but it is possible to get results using the T25 system.
T25 is all about getting the most out of your workouts, after all it’s only 25 minutes. Each workout will focus on one muscle group at a time. After Shaun works those muscles, he gives them a break and switches to another group of muscles. Shaun calls his system Focus Interval Training or FIT.
T25 is sort of a modified version of the Insanity workout with little less impact. They are shorter workout times and the routines come with modified versions for beginners and people that might have issues with their knees, backs, ankles, old injuries, etc.
The daily workouts follows a natural progession for working each muscle group so it is hard to get bored. There is a clock on the screen so you can see how much time is left and gives you an idea what exercise is coming up.
The exercises are changing constantly, about every 30 – 45 seconds, working a specific group of muscles. During the workout the moves are combined as a final progression about in the middle of the workout and again as you finish the routine. At the end of the workout it goes into the stretching so you can cool yourself down for about 2-3 minutes.
Before you buy Focus T25
The t25 workout day begins on Monday and says it’s 5 days but what they don’t tell you is on the 5th day it is a double workout, so roughly an hour workout that day. You get a break on the 6th day and then workout with the Stretch DVD on the 7th day. If you don’t have time for the double workout on Friday, you can do it on Saturday.
If you have worked out with some of the other programs, you will probably recognize a few of the exercises. He has taken some of the workouts and modified them for Focus T25. The 25 minute workouts will help mentally because you know it’s a short workout that can give you some great results.
The base kit comes with 11 workouts on 9 DVD’s. T25 is broken down into 2 parts, Alpha and Beta. There’s another phase which is an advanced workout (sold seperately) that is not included in the base kit, called Gamma. The test group you see with Shaun T, used just the Alpha and Beta workouts.
