First Time Visitor? Welcome to Chest Muscle Building, where you can get the Best Muscle Building Supplements and read daily updates on muscle building & offers. Don't Miss: !!!!!!!!!!!! More than likely you’ve seen the infomercial for the P90X workout program on television…several times. You see all of the lean, strong trainers, fitness enthusiasts, and average joes on there exercising, sweating, looking pumped, and abs for days. You’ve definitely seen the many real life testimonials they have of regular people, like you and I, showing their dramatic transformations. You’d love to look like that. You’d love to be able to do the things they do on there. But, is the program practical? Is it realistic? Is it just big time hype, or does it actually do what it claims to do? As I also wrote in my little introduction, I’ve had to try to get fit from both angles; from someone skinny trying to gain lean muscle mass, and from someone severely overweight trying to lose weight and burn offbody fat. The problem I notice with most exercise programs is that yes, they may have one or two good points, or one or two “on the money” tactics, but the rest of it doesn’t really work or isn’t practical for the average person. Some programs are great about the types of exercises they recommend, but are wrong about how to go about the diet. Other programs are pretty decent for building strength, but you don’t really gain any visible muscle mass or lose any fat. And yet there are others that will help you lose overall body weight, but you end up looking horrible because it will also cause you to lose any muscle tone…basically transforming you into a smaller version of yourself, not a leaner, more muscular version. That was the “rock and a hard place” I was constantly in. However, one of the big things I simply love about the is the fact that it doesn’t focus or harp on one major factor, it encompasses several pieces of the puzzle (something you simply don’t see with other fitnessand diet routines). And I’m not saying that just to say it. I’ll even give you some specifics about why P90X will burn off body fat, help you lose weight, help you get toned, build lean muscle, and give you strength and power to do things you thought only gymnasts and acrobats could do. For some odd reason anyone looking to lose weight, “cut up”, bring their waste size down, bring out their abs that have been hiding for years, etc., thinks the only or best way to do that is by doing a ton of cardio or aerobics. That’s why you can go to any major gym or recreational center and you’ll have every treadmill and elliptical machine being used. They’ll (or maybe even you) be on those machines for an hour or more at a time, sweating buckets and buckets. Yet those same people don’t seem to look any more defined, or some may actually lose weight on the scale (the number goes down), but when they look at themselves in the mirror they don’t LOOK any leaner or more toned! P90X has got itright; it isn’t performing hours and hours of cardiovascular work or aerobics that’s going to give you a beach body, but in fact it’s using the correct body exercises and a specific pace, intensity, and heart pumping / lung burning speed that will not only burn calories while you work out, but will burn calories afterward and will raise your metabolism. These are the factors that will give you a lean, mean body and . How many individuals do you know or athletes you see that have excellent bodies, yet they do almost no “typical” training on a treadmill or stair stepper? P90X has got it right! And for those looking to gain some muscle and / or build strength, the kind that will allow you to do pushups, pull-ups, lunges, and other exercises; why does P90X work in this area as well? Too many to list them all, but some include the fact that gaining strength isn’t necessarily a matter of piling hundreds of bone crushing pounds onto a barbell and trying to lift a small house. No. Strengthinvolves several different aspects and body systems, such as explosiveness, even if you are using nothing more than your own bodyweight, speed, doing more work in less time because you are taking shorter and shorter time to catch your breath, etc. Also, stimulating all of the fibers in the muscles to work so that they can developed has a lot to do with the “neuromuscular system’s adaptation” (which simply means turning on the nerves that tell the muscles to stretch, contract, push, pull, swing, jump, etc.). The more you can get these muscle fibers to “fire” the more you’ll be able to do, the more you’ll gain and develop lean muscle, and the higher your metabolism will race. P90X, they way it has you perform the exercises, automatically will do this for your body! And, with P90X you don’t need any special equipment or even a gym membership! You can do all of these routines right in the privacy of your home, with no one else watching (if that’s what you prefer), and needing little morethan a few dumbbells, a chin up bar, and maybe a jump rope. That’s all that’s needed to build the body you see in all of the success stories for P90X. One of the heavy hitters in the P90X workout program, to which a lot of the success comes from, is from this exercise system incorporating and being based on an advanced training technique called Muscle Confusion™. Many other workout routines and fat loss programs may work initially, but after several weeks they stop working. Why? One of the reasons is that once the body has gotten everything and all of the up-front benefits of certain exercises or techniques it stops responding. It is no longer a challenge or a needed skill. However, P90X is structured in such a way that the different workouts ensure that this never happens. It keeps the body constantly “guessing” and forcing the muscles to continue to become stronger and more developed in order to “keep up”…all the while the fat is dropping off! Teaching and making the musclesand the body as a whole do specific movements in specific ways turn on areas of the muscles and the body that have never been used. Now, there’s something you’ve got to realize if you sincerely want to change the way you look. And this is no hype. You can have the best exercise program ever invented since the beginning of time, and you can be very consistent and intense with those training routines and sessions. But if you don’t know how to eat, what to eat, or how much to eat you’re never going to look any different! There’s simply no way around this. (Trust me, if I knew of a program where as long as I worked out consistently I could eat a whole box of Krispy Kreme donuts, 2 Chipotle burritos, McDonald’s fries, wings, and white chocolate caramel macchiatos everyday without gaining any body fat, I would!). Well, the P90X exercise routine tells you how to combine this state of the art training program with the eating and dieting format to allow you to lose all of that nasty bodyfat and grow lean muscle. There are even well known, extremely rich celebrities (who could afford all kinds of trainers, programs, supplements, etc.) that have used P90X to get in shape for extremely important events, like Grammy Awards performances, such as Pink, as she herself recently stated on the Oprah Winfrey Show. As a side note, as a reminder, this is indeed an honest review by me, and Tony Horton, the trainer that spearheads P90X, on the DVDs can be kind of cheesy at times. Some of his little phrases and “jokes” he uses I thought were corny. However, that’s really my only complaint! I have to admit, the guy is very motivational, full of energy, and just listening and watching him makes you want to match him head to head, so I guess I can let his little “sayings” slide. Check Out All Of The P90X System DVDs and Manuals: Being that I’m a “visual aids” type of guy, and I feel you learn easier and quicker when you are able to actually “see” something as opposed to reading it,I’ll start off first with telling you about the P90X workout DVDs.
