Workout Routines For Paintball

Over the past 3 months I’ve spent exactly 5 days at home. From March 26ththrough today, June 30th, I have been working like crazy and traveling like a mad man. In all the hustle and bustle I was only able to get to the gym a half-dozen times. Over time I’ve lost some muscle mass, and my weight has dropped overall. I was not a happy camper when it came to sacrificing my fitness for the sake of my work.

Then I stumbled upon an idea that seemed to work. Instead of cranking out as many pushups as I could sporadically as my work got hectic and then relaxed again, I began to keep track of my sets. Then I began to keep track of my numbers on various days. What I found was that even though I’m very dedicated, I still only averaged 300-400 pushups a week when I was aiming for 700 (100 a day). Thus was Finance Pushups born.

Instead of normal pushup sets, I went ahead with a new plan. I would go in to “debt” 100 pushups upon waking up. Regardless of where I was or how many I did the day before, those 100 pushups would be added to my overall debt. So for instance, if I consistently hit 100 a day, each day I would need to complete 100 more. However, if I missed a day, or only completed a part of the 100, those extra debt pushups that I didn’t do would roll over to the next day. So instead of having just an overall debt of 100, I would having 100 rollover from previous day(s). This could (and did) spiral out of control fast. In one week I found myself owing 340 pushups upon waking up after a few crazy days of work!!

Moreover, you can’t put pushups in the bank. If you only owe 100 of debt, and you crank the Seether and knock out 200, you still owe the full 100 the next day.

I fell behind, and struggled for a couple days but after I fell in to the routine, it was absolutely terrific to help me keep up my workouts. I highly suggest giving it a shot if you travel frequently, or just enjoy switching up your routines.
