15-Minute Abdominal Training Routines

  15-Minute Abdominal Workouts Here a few quick abdominal workouts that are sure to help you tighten that midsection. Workout #1 – Ab Circuit Weighted crunches – 15 reps Raised knee crunch & Twist – 15 reps per side Reverse crunch – 15 reps Leg raise w/ Hip Thrust – 15 reps Plank walkout – 5 reps Side plank – as long as possible on right side, match time on left side *Complete all exercise in succession (no breaks between exercises) and repeat starting at top*   Workout #2 – Ab Super Set (SS) Hanging knee raise – 10 reps,    SS heel touches – 10 reps per side    x 3 sets Jack knifes – 15 reps,    SS bicycle Crunch – 15reps per side               x 3 sets In-And-Outs – 20 reps,    SS side-to-sides – 15 reps per side              x 3 sets Mountain climber – to failure                                                            x 3 sets *Super Set (SS) means to do next exercise immediately after the first exercise without time between*   Workout #3 – Cardio Abs High knees – 30 seconds,   SS mountain Climber – 30 seconds Push-up plank knee to elbow – 10 reps per side Bird dog hip touch – 10 reps per side,    SS burpees – 30 seconds  Plank – as long as possible, SS side planks – as long as possible Hip twists – 10- 15 reps per side Bicycle Crunch -15 reps per side,    SS mountain Climbers – to failure *the goal of this routine is to keep heart rate and body temperature up in order to burn more calories and increase blood flow and circulation, having as little rest as possible is benefitial*   Make sure you focus on your core muscles during every exercise, it’s easy to let your larger muscles take over which will lower the effectiveness of an exercise.
