Workout Routines With 5 Pound Weights



So I think I might start posting my daily workout routines. If I miss a day then so be it. But, here is today’s workout.

Wake up and go!

Immediately after I wake up I off and on sprinted for 15 minutes / 1 mile.

Then I rested for 10 minutes and went directly into my first weight lifting session.

Reps and sets below. With my buddy and cousin James! Because it is hell of a lot of help unpinning and repinning the stacks on my gym station.

2 x 10 @ 200 lbs Leg extensions (Legs felt rough so opted to not do anymore)

5 x 10 @ 150 Wide Grip Lateral Pulldowns

5 x 10 @ 150 Reverse Close Grip Lateral Pulldowns

5 x 10 @ 200 lbs Arm Press

5 x 10 @ 125 lbs Butterfly Press

1 x 30 @ 175 Wide Grip Lateral Pulldowns

1 x 20 @ 200 Wide Grip Lateral Pulldowns

1 x 15 @ 225 Wide Grip Lateral Pulldowns

1 x 10 @ 250 Wide Grip Lateral Pulldowns

2 minute break

1 x 10 @ 250 Reverse Close Grip Lateral Pulldowns

1 x 15 @ 225 Reverse Close Grip Lateral Pulldowns

1 x 20 @ 200 Reverse Close Grip Lateral Pulldowns

1 x 30 @ 175 Reverse Close Grip Lateral Pulldowns (optional until failure – 50 for me)

2 minute break

1 x 20 @ 125 lbs Standing Rows

1 x 15 @ 150 lbs Standing Rows

1 x 10 @ 175 lbs Standing Rows

2 minute break

1 x 20 @ 150 lbs Arm Press

1 x 15 @ 175 lbs Arm Press

1 x 10 @ 200 lbs Arm Press

1 x 5 @ 225 lbs Arm Press

2 minute break

2 x 10 @ 40 lbs Left & Right Preacher Dumb bell Curls

2 x 10 @ 175 lbs Preacher Curls

Seems like a lot doesn’t it? Well it was!
