All In Yoga 300 Gives Users More ,
Share if you like it! Full Yoga App for All Levels All in Yoga 300 poses & yoga classes is ‘s full yoga application for the iPhone that is very much similar to their free app however gives the user a lot more functionality, more options, and more opportunities to view great content regarding what else…Yoga! If you are into yoga you may want to just skip the free app and spring for the 99 cent one to get right into it. It’s worth it and I’m about to tell you why right now. Programs, Calendars, and Options Oh My When you enter into the app you are faced with a home screen that shows a beautiful woman dressed in white sitting crossed legged on a floor. That’s weird I feel like I’ve written this before…hmmm how strange! Oh yeah that’s because I did the review for the free yoga app and the home screen is identical to it. Above her to the left is the “My Programs” icon and above her to the right is the “Pose Base” icon. The my programs icon takes the user to a screen where they canchoose from quick recipe mode, fast mode, and Personal Yoga Teacher mode as well . Quick recipe lets them choose from previously created yoga “recipes” that range in length from many different routines that range in duration from 14 minutes all the way up to 89 minutes. The routines are organized in three sections. The sections are level, goal, and premium. In the level sections recipes are organized in category lists based on the users experience level. The levels are Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Guru. In the goal section the recipes for this section are arranged based on several basic fitness goals most people would want from doing Yoga. Goals such as Balance, Flexibility, Strong Back, Joint Warm-Up, Breathing Exercises, Fitness, and lastly De-stress. In the Premium section the user can choose from premium level routines to purchase by way of in app purchase. Some examples of premium routines available here are “Backache Recovery”, Curb Digestion Problems, and“Energy Boost”. There was also one called “Burning Desire” that I was curious about just by title alone but I decided to keep it clean haha. The next section in the My Programs area is “Personal Yoga Teacher”. This section has you enter your age, weight, goal, level of experience with yoga, and duration. Once entered the teacher will find you just the right yoga routine to suit your requirements. This section is pretty cool and allows for some level of interaction between the app and the user. I tested out several sets of requirements and most of them resulted in the proper yoga routines offered. However there was one thing I found a little concerning. The app has routines available for the average user with the average weight but if you are seriously overweight as I am there is nothing available. My weight is around 380lbs and when i put that into the search i got a message telling me that nothing was found for my parameters. In fact I pretty much figured out that anyone over332lbs is out of luck with the personal teacher. This isn’t a major deal to most people because most people are not over 300lbs. Also most people my size are most likely not doing Yoga on a regular basis. I can’t speak for all big people everywhere but based on my experience this is what i believe is the case. So I’m thinking it’s a “no biggie” situation and not something that should prevent anyone from using the app. The last section in the My Programs area is called “Fast Mode”. The fast mode section allows users to create their own customized programs with asanas from the pose base. You can then give your program a name and use it anytime you would like a good yoga workout. This way you can get just the right asanas needed for whatever you are trying to do with yoga. The options section of this app from offers the user several ways to modify their personal experience and its clear and easy to deal with . Users can switch between several languages including Deutsch,English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Polish. This flexibility is nice and should help them earn a larger download base. You can have pose name voicing in English or in Sanskrit. Users can also turn off pose name voicing as well. There are also options for timer periods, sounds, teachers voice on or off, relax pose options, video in training, facebook sharing, and download content options too. There is a ton of things to play with here and for purposes of expediency I won’t go into each. However let me just say that this part of the apps is one of the best features due to the fact that it gives users the ability to customize the experience for themselves. That is nice! When a user clicks on the premium section it is an advertisement for Yoga.com’s premium subscription of $1.66 per month. For this subscription users get special fitness programs, anti-stress programs, more music for practice and relaxation, and the option to add custom poses. With the premium subscriptionusers can also send workouts and poses to friends. Users can also add their own asanas to the database with photos, video and audio. I’m not a yoga expert by any stretch of the imagination but it seems to me like this is a really good deal and at a very affordable price. $1.66 per month is less than a cup of coffee each month. Clicking on the more section will bring users into a menu where they can choose from creating a profile, live support, becoming a guru, ordering personal training program for $49.99, and facebook sharing. The facebook sharing part also offers users free bonuses for liking the app. Into Yoga? Why Not Read a Magazine? The All in Yoga 300 app also offers users a chance to check out the All-In Yoga Magazine which features wonderful articles based on many different topics that all pertain to Yoga in some way or another. I like this because the content is always changing and that adds variety to the app as well. This is a very nice feature to go with a very niceapp! iPhone App Review Guy Rating: ★★★★★ 5 out of 5 stars. Where the free app left off this one picked it up and added to it. This is the 5 star yoga app you should get. This app rocks! Available Now! See what you think! Price: .99 Like this: Like Loading...
