Workout Routines at Home:  Are there any?

One of the objections that I often get from people is that they do not have time to workout.  I ask them if they have ever considered working out from home.  Most people then ask me if there are workout routines at home that produce results.  I find it remarkable that people are not aware of the wide array of workouts that are available for all different fitness levels that can be done at any time from the comfort of your own living room.

Workout Routines at Home 1:  Insanity

The first of the workout routines at home that I would recommend is .  Insanity is an all out cardio assault.  I do not recommend it for beginners.  It is brutally hard, but produces results in a short period of time.

P90X2 is the result of two years of research and development.  P90X2, speaking from experience, produces visible results within weeks.  At the end of my first 90 day cycle, I lost 30 pounds with significant visual improvements in muscle tone.

The original P90X used Muscle Confusion to break the typical 30-day training plateaus to rev up results.  P90X2 takes what researchers learned from P90X and adds in training techniques developed by professional sports trainers to get World class results.  P90X2 uses a training phase called P.A.P. or Post-Activation Potentiation that is the peak of the new training method.  The program includes 12 groundbreaking workouts focused on chiseling your body while building your balance, agility, core strength, and athleticism.  You will be working out in a variety of balance positions and using a stability ball with many of your sets.

P90X2 includes a new highly flexible nutrition plan.  The plan even includes a vegan and grain free option.  I found the nutrition plan easy to stick to with a wide variety of eating options.

Workout Routines at Home 3:  Power 90

So far, I have only discussed workouts routines at home that are high intensity and very challenging for people that are not starting out in fairly good shape.  is the solution for those that are just starting a new fitness routine.  People have had incredible results with Power 90.  Richard Neal lost over 200 pound starting with Power 90.

Power 90 is a little dated.  It has been around for a long time, but that does not mean it does not produce results.  The fact that it is a little older, makes it a little cheaper.  So here are the components of Power 90:

  • Sculpt Circuit 1-2: Easy moves that work to tone, firm, and strengthen your entire body. (29 minutes)
  • Sculpt Circuit 1-2: Easy moves that work to tone, firm, and strengthen your entire body. (29 minutes)
  • Sweat Cardio 1-2: Fun, innovative cardio moves, kickboxing, Pilates, and more to burn fat and shed inches fast. (36 minutes)
  • Sculpt Circuit 3-4: Next level for sculpting long, lean muscles. (38 minutes)
  • Sweat Cardio 3-4: Accelerated fat and calorie blasting. (42 minutes)
  • Ab Ripper 100 & 200: Get two 6-minute ab routines guaranteed to give you the flat, hard six-pack abs you’ve always wanted.
