When I got done at the gym last Monday I was shocked at how great I felt. Yes, I was tired from my workout. But it felt as if I sweated out every care in the world. 

40 Minute Gym Workout Routine

So here’s what I did in those 40 minutes:

  • 10 min warm up on the elliptical
  • Circuits: 4 rotations of 10x weighted squats, 10x box jumps, 10x push ups, 10x weighted curls in push up position, 30 sec rest.
  • 10 min cool down on the elliptical

When you are doing the circuits, try your best not to rest in between. No more than 5-10 seconds switching exercises!

I’ve been doing circuits as part of my workouts each week because of a session I had with the trainer at the gym. Usually when you sign up at a gym, they give you a complimentary session so that you can ask questions on what you should do to reach your goals.
